Description
The Female Duck features unique patterns that cover the entirety of the body. With hints of brown and blue with a luster throughout and a contrasting wing, the Female Duck is a beautiful demonstration of the fine art of glass blowing. A narrower head, wings and a longer body help to differentiate the Female Duck from the Male Duck.

How do they do that?

This is one of the birds which exemplifies why I collect Toikka birds. When you look at the surface for texture and design, and you are not a professional glass blower, it truly makes you wonder how do they do that? That wonder of how those talented artists can create such works helps fuel my interest. Many times I look at a bird and want to see the process from beginning to end.
A great number of the Toikka’s do this for me, but some are over the top.
