First produced in 1981, this Willow Grouse is a relaunch of a beloved bird by Oiva Toikka. Also referred to as the Ptmarmigan, he designed it to resemble it's real-life counterpart that can be found in Lapland, Finland. The bird has a unique texture that can be seen and felt, though the overall look is still soft and subtle. The hues of ivory and creamy beige give it a natural palette perfect for all modern spaces. The body is thoughtfully paired with a clear head and beak. Like all Toikka birds, the 2020 Willow Grouse is handcrafted and mouth-blown in Finland by iittala's master blowers.
