The bird is quite small but is very beautifull. It’s a bit translucent. Would look great when the morning sun hits it. Just in, but already one of my favourite birds. I think the bird looks best with some other owls.

The service from glassbirds is excellent. The charge fair prices but the service is top notch. I live in Europe (the Netherlands), so with VAT and customs the bird is expensive. But it’s an unique bird and wouldn’t definitely buy here again.

The black beak and large beige eyes against the white head remind me of the Snowy Owl. The barring on the lower half of my owl is a beautiful mix of soft, muted blue and dark gray colors that stripe along the pearly white body, with tiny areas of clear glass for a translucent effect. I was extra thrilled that the number of the bird I received just happens to have significance for me.
