The contemporary design of this bird centers around the symmetrical use of the drop shape both the head and body are the same only the scale is different. The use of this shape, beautiful glass, and hollow opening at each end allow for light to shine through the bird displaying a stunning spectrum of turquoise at its head and brilliant range of orange at its body.
Each Vigna Bird is individually handcrafted by master glassblowers at iittalas renowned glassworks in Nuutajrvi, Finland. The time-intensive process of forming, cutting, and polishing each bird showcases the skill of these craftsmen.
