The Toikka Hiplu is Oiva Toikkas new creation, the gray winter bird. Peppered with flecks of gold lustrous spots across a pearl-gray body, the bird sits nestled with its head held high, looking out over its surroundings. Reminiscent of a pure and snowy day, the translucent body is made of white opaque glass layered with gray.
The Toikka Hiplu is Oiva Toikkas new creation, the gray winter bird. As a part of the 2012 collection, the Hiplu celebrates 40 years of innovative and stylish Oiva Toikka birds. Each bird is handmade at iittalas famous glassworks in Nuutajrvi, Finland and carries a mark ensuring authenticity.
