Rosebud is artist Oiva Toikkas Annual Bird for 2010. This exquisite design beautifully illustrates Toikkas vision and the skill of the master glassblowers at iittalas glassworks. Deep, rich reds are formed in a wavy pattern over a milky white glass layer. The pattern is reversed in the center of each side to create soft white ovals where wings would be expected. Rosebud is perched atop a base and stands at attention with an extended, strong red beak. Great as a display piece in any room in your home.
