As many of Toikka's beautiful birds are, this design is modeled after that of the real species of Indigo Bunting. It shares the same bright blue coloring and distinctive wing shape but with an artistic twist; the wings wrap around the back and merge onto the tail in a stunning V-shape. Handcrafted by the iittala master glassblowers in Finland, each Toikka Indigo Bunting is a unique piece of art.
