It radiates one of iittala's rarest colors - Amethyst -, which becomes more rich in blues in certain lights and vivid violet in others. This beautiful bird was even more striking in person. I love the strong purple color of the body and metallic sheen of the head. Fast and careful package made this purchase a very happy experience all the way around.
