Description
Inspired by the stunning glacial Nordic landscapes and the seabirds that frequent them, Toikka created the 2019 Annual Bird and Egg called Vuono. Vuono is Finnish for fjord - a deep, narrow, and long sea or lake drain surrounded by steep land. Fittingly, marine blue hues can be found in the reflective stripes that grace Vuono and her egg from top to bottom, moving in wave-like swirls. The rest is a beautiful indigo color, which may feel blue, grey, or violet to you depending on your mood and perspective. Only available for 2019, each handcrafted iittala Toikka Vuono 2019 Annual Egg carries the signature O. Toikka IITTALA 2019 to ensure authenticity.
