Adorned with a colorful scallop pattern, green is her predominant body color with blue, white and light green among her other colors.
Her transparent wings are golden brown and her beak is a translucent yellow-gold color.
The Female Wood Grouse is a large Toikka bird measuring about 6 inches tall and 10 inches long with a slightly fanned tail. Mouth blown in Finland.
All of the Toikka birds are highly collected, individually made, mouth-blown pieces of art. Each bird is handmade at iittala’s famous glassworks in Nuutajärvi. These birds are great gifts for bird-lovers and those who appreciate mouth-blown glass art.
