More about iittala Toikka Ruffed Grouse The Ruffed Grouse is a special limited-edition Oiva Toikka design. Each hand-numbered Ruffed Grouse features a unique texture not found on other birds by Toikka. The rich translucent golden brown body is adorned with spots of pearl white and reflective blue throughout the Ruffed grouse’s stout form. The coloring also contributes to its unique texture. Each pearl white spot is inlayed in the golden brown body with a slight channel around the two colors – the reflective blue spots are layered on top picking up light from all directions.

Your limited-edition Ruffed Grouse is an individually made, mouth-blown piece of art handcrafted by the master glassblowers at iittala’s famous glassworks in Nuutajärvi, Finland. Each Ruffed Grouse is hand-etched and number “O Toikka Nuutajärvi, xxx/750” at its base.
