Oiva Toikka's Spotted Towhee is a dark, opaque bird with hints of rufous on its sides and underbelly that illuminate in directional lighting. This handsome bird has a white midbelly; white, wavy wing bars; and a pronounced metallic beak that is set far back on its head.

On the bottom of the bird is hand-etched the name of the artist, Oiva Toikka, and of his studio in Nuutajärvi, Finland. Your bird is uniquely numbered by edition xxxx/1500.
