Oiva Toikka’s New York Bluebird has a great personality. Its head is turning slightly to the left in wonderment and sits atop a tear-shaped, plump body. It has a long, pointed nose that slightly turns with its head.
Its colors are most spectacular. It has a bright, orange chest that tapers and scatters into white. And its wings are a subtle, mottled blue that rests on an opaque body, and that give way to a rich blue just below its wings.
On the bottom of the bird is hand-etched the name of the artist, Oiva Toikka, and of his studio in Nuutajärvi, Finland. Your bird is uniquely numbered by edition xxx/1250.
